Mr. Gareth Wyn Owen visited the Sri Sammakka-Saralamma temple in Medaram.

He participated in the Thulabharam ritual, offered prayers to the goddesses, and paid his respects.

His arrival in traditional handloom attire impressed everyone.

Minister Seethakka and District Collector T.S. Divakar explained to him the significance of the Medaram Maha Jatara, the newly constructed platforms, the history of the tribal community, and the arrangements made for the devotees.

He observed the details of the festival with great interest.
